Note- By using our site you consent to our terms and conditions. These terms and conditions can change at any time, for any reason. It is recommended that you check regularly for any updates.
We do not take any responsibility whatsoever for viewing by anyone, or any actions taken by anyone viewing all content in part our whole, (including user generated content) of this blog, links contained within or links to content of external blogs/sites listed on this site. Visitors to Coax London take complete responsibility and risk in your use of any external sites of which Coax London have no control.
Copyright Regulations- Just so that we are clear…
Articles here are not licensed by Creative Commons. All Coax London’s materials, (all content including but not limited to blog, content, articles and owned photography) is copyright protected. Therefore no part may be reproduced by any means or exclusive rights granted without the written permission of the blog author.
So you want to use/ publish some of Coax London’s content, hey thanks that’s pretty cool. Use, publication and distribution of the materials is permitted ONLY based on the following:
At ALL times you will need to attribute the source correctly, i.e. display a link that credits the actual source of the specific material in question. NOT just the Blog Home Page.
Once permission is granted, ONLY excerpts of 150 words maximum are allowed for use/ publication. If the article is less than 150 words then only a maximum of a third of the article can be used. You can of course share full articles to loved ones for personal use- with correct attribution.
Under NO circumstances can you use any of these materials for commercial purposes unless you have the author’s written approval to do so.
If you have a request to use these materials outside of these perimeters listed here please contact us. While not guaranteed, permission is to be requested first. We understand that your needs may be unique depending on your circumstance. We reserve the right to accommodate them.
Utilising Content without Permission
It is not nice, not fair, not necessary whilst willing to share. They say that you can tell a lot about a person by who they hang around with. Who cares if you didn’t actually write the content. The fact that you have found worth in someone else’s material will be testimony to your own good taste. Surrounding yourself with seemingly clever and creative people will actually reflect better on you.
If evidence of a copyright violation is acquired by us, we will send only one warning. If the warning is not taken seriously, there are a number of more creative steps that can be taken beyond a Stop and Desist Letter. Things like: reporting the violation to your hosting company, (if you move we will follow). Spreading the word eloquently within your social network circles persistently, (enough mud thrown against the wall sticks). If you have one, report the offence to your ad revenue provider, (boo hoo no more revenue for you). BUT all of this can be avoided with permission and or correct ATTRIBUTION.
User Generated Content (UGC)
Note- All comments to be made using the English Language. This is simply to help us understand.
User generated comments (UGC) actually don’t belong to us, they belong to you the author. With this in mind, when using Coax London the following terms will be applied to all UGC. If you leave a comment/ post, you give us permission to withdraw, modify, reconstruct in whichever way we choose. (This is not a duty we will carry out, rather it gives us the freedom to effectively manage UGC. Obviously this clause is not intended on dumbing down comments. It is of utmost important to us to remain true to users comments). In the vast majority of cases they will remain verbatim.
Examples of where editions/ removals may occur: when a comment is extraordinary long and needs to be edited down, (it is hoped without losing essence), it doesn’t contribute meaningfully to the topic i.e. off topic or spam, repetitive. Or when a comment or individual is derogatory, offensive, inflammatory, defamatory or might be deemed illegal in the EU. We enforce a Troll Free zone. A user who persists with the above type behaviour will be banned without further notice.
We have the understanding that if you leave an anonymous comment you relinquish any and all rights associated with that comment. If at any point you are offended by any comments published, please report this behaviour. This can easily be done on our Contact page using the submission box with the title “feedback”.
